Pay by Credit Cards

We accept Visa and MasterCard for your payment for any product or service that you buy from us. To make a payment, please use our secure online payment form. The credit card information you enter in our secure server is encrypted during transport from your browser to us, so it is safe from any third party viewing or manipulation. Our SSL server globalsecure.net is configured to support 128-bit encryption. Your credit card payment is processed with our own Merchant ID, and a charge from "GlobalFront" appears on your credit card statement once the payment is processed.

Pay through PayPal

We also accept payments through PayPal, the largest online payment processor worldwide. PayPal currently has over 86 million member accounts worldwide, and allows you to pay by Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards, debit from your US bank account, many non-US currencies, and from PayPal balance. GlobalFront is a PayPal verified business, and has been a user of PayPal services since 2004. To make a payment, please click the PayPal "Click here to pay" button below. You will be directed to PayPal secure server, and will be able to specify the domain/account you are paying for and the amount you would like to pay. Your payment will be processed by PayPal, and a charge from "PayPal*GlobalFront" will appear on your credit card or bank statement once the payment is processed.

Pay by Check, Money Order or Bank Draft

We accept personal, business and cashier's checks, money-order and bank draft drawn on continental U.S. banks with payment in US dollars. International bank drafts or international money-orders must be payable in US dollars, preferably drawn on a US bank or financial institute. Please mail your check, money order or bank draft to our payment address. Please note that we assess a minimum of $25.00 fee for each returned check. If you are paying for a web hosting account, then please note that a minimum of 3-month service fee is required with any payment by check.

Q. If I make a payment, would I receive a receipt for the payment?

Yes. We will email you a detailed receipt of your payment within 24-48 hours of our receiving and processing of your payment. For payments received during a weekend or on a US banking holiday, the receipt will be emailed to you during the next business day. (Please note that for most orders paid with credit cards, your payment and order may be processed even before you receive the payment receipt. Q. I am ordering multiple domains or multiple accounts on the same day. Can I make a single, combined payment for all those domains/accounts?

Yes, you can make a single payment for the total amount due for multiple domains or accounts that you are ordering. Please make sure to mention the domain/account names you are paying for in the "comments" field of our payment form.

Q. I received renewal invoice emails from GlobalFront for multiple domains or multiple accounts. Can I make a single, combined payment for all those domains or accounts?

Yes, you can make a single payment for the total amount due for renewal of multiple accounts or multiple domains. Please make sure to mention the domain names you are paying for in the "comments" field of our payment form.

Q. I need to update my credit card information for monthly recurring payment term. How do I do that?

To change credit card information for recurring monthly charges for your account, please click on Pay by Credit Cards link on this page. After the browser loads our "Secure Credit Card Payment Form", please enter your new credit card information. In the "comment" field at the lower end of the form, please specify that the new card information is for monthly recurring charge for your account. Your card won't be charged until the next payment due date for your account, but you will still receive a confirmation from us regarding update to your payment information within the next business day.

Q. How is renewal handled for web hosting and virtual server accounts?

If you are on a monthly payment plan, then your account will be automatically renewed every month, unless you cancel your account by emailing us a cancellation request along with your account/domain name and password. Your credit card will be charged on or around the renewal date for the monthly hosting fee due for your account.

If you are on a 3-month, 6-month or 12-month payment term, then we will email you an invoice at least 14-21 days before the expiration date. You would need to visit the payment link that is in the renewal invoice, and make a payment to renew your account.

Q. How is renewal handled for domain service accounts?

For all domain service accounts, we will email you an invoice at least 14-21 days before GlobalFront's service expiration date. You would need to visit the payment link that is in the renewal invoice, and make a payment to renew your account before the payment due date.  Please note that if your domain was registered or renewed through a registrar, ISP or web host other than GlobalFront, then you are responsible for all registration and registration renewal fees that are due to your registrar or registration service provider, in addition to any DNS, forwarding or hosting services that you are using from GlobalFront. If your domain registration was processed by, transferred to, or renewed through GlobalFront, then we require that we receive the registration renewal fee from you at least 3 days in advance of the expiration date. GlobalFront will not be liable for loss of your domain name or loss of use of your domain name resulting from the registrar's deleting, disabling, selling, reassigning ownership of, or releasing, your domain name due to your non-payment of registration renewal fees on time.

Q. My website hosting service already expired and the website got deactivated on GlobalFront's servers. Could I still renew the web hosting service with GlobalFront?

After your website got deactivated due to non-renewal on time, if you act quickly, you might still be able to renew services for the website.  To do so, please make a renewal payment that was requested for renewal of the hosting service in your most recent invoice from GlobalFront, plus an additional $10.00 service reactivation fee.  (Under some scenarios, if your account(s) was/were in good payment status with GlobalFront prior to such deactivation, GlobalFront may renew hosting services for the sites without requiring for the reactivation fee).  However, such renewals would be retroactively effective from the expiration date, so you won't get any credit for the days when your services stayed deactivated for non-renewal on time.

Q. My domain registration service already expired, and the domain is currently showing a third party site. Could I still renew the domain registration service with GlobalFront?

If your domain was using a registrar or registration service provider other than GlobalFront at the time of its expiration, then you would need to contact that registrar or registration service provider for renewal of your domain.  If GlobalFront was the registration service provider for your domain at the time of its expiration, and if the registrar has not imposed a redemption fee for renewal of the domain yet, if you act quickly, you might still be able to renew services for the domain.  To do so, please make a renewal payment that was requested for renewal of the domain service in your most recent invoice from GlobalFront, plus an additional $10.00 domain reactivation fee.  (Under some scenarios, if your domain(s) was/were in good payment status with GlobalFront prior to such deactivation, GlobalFront may renew domain services for you without requiring for the reactivation fee).  However, such renewals would be retroactively effective from the expiration date, so you won't get any credit for the days when your domain stayed deactivated for non-renewal on time.  If the registrar has already assessed a redemption fee for the domain, then we would require the additional redemption fee before renewal of the domain, or at our sole discretion, would refuse to renew the domain for you.  If we do not renew the domain, we will refund you the renewal fee received for such renewal request.

Q. I am not in monthly payment term, but I am not receiving renewal notices. What is happening?

Several email service and email software providers now automatically put incoming messages from unknown senders into your junk, spam or bulk mail folder instead of delivering them in your email inbox. To prevent this from happening to email messages being sent by GlobalFront to your email address, you would need to add GlobalFront's email address(es) to the address book in your e-mail program. Q. Do you collect Sales/Use taxes on purchased made at your site?

GlobalFront is registered in the states of Minnesota and Iowa to collect and remit sales/use taxes. If your billing address is in Iowa or Minnesota, then you would need to add, and/or authorize us to add, Minnesota State Sales Tax (6.875 percent) plus any additional Minnesota Local Taxes (if applicable), or Iowa Use Tax (6.00 percent) to the net total for all orders. (GlobalFront's Minnesota Sales/Use Tax Permit # is 8022142, and Iowa Use Tax Permit # is 2-00-151660). You could search for rates of Minnesota Sales/Use Tax or Iowa Sales/Use Tax applicable to your zip code, if you are not sure about the tax rate for your location.

Q. I cannot access your secure online payment form(s). My browser shows a "Page cannot be displayed" error? What can I do?

If you are experiencing this error while trying to access secure pages in our server (e.g., the credit card payment form), then you might want to check the security settings in your browser. If you are an Internet Explorer user, please click on "Tools", "Internet Options", "Advanced", and scroll all the way down to "Security" section, and make sure "Use SSL 2.0" and/or "SSL 3.0" are checked. If "Use TLS 1.0" is checked, uncheck/unmark (set OFF) it. Also, if you are using version 7 or older versions of Internet Explorer, then please make sure you have all necessary updates, or you may try a different browser, such as Netscape. If your computer is behind a firewall, then that could also be the source of the problem. In that case, you may try using a computer that is not behind a firewall and that has a browser setting to support SSL.

Q. I cannot access your secure pages using Netscape 6 or Mozilla? What can I do?

Netscape 6 doesn't properly support the SSL protocol. Netscape 6 prefers the TLSv1 protocol. This version is not widely supported by many of the server software including several versions of Apache. To get around this problem, please turn off TLS in your browser. The steps are the same for both Netscape and/or Mozilla. From the 'Tasks' menu, please select 'Security Manager' under 'Privacy and Security', click on the 'Advanced' tab, and then the 'Options' button at the left. Finally un-select 'Enable TLS' and close the window. You should now be able to access our payment forms securely. Also, you might consider updating your Netscape browser.
